Updating the Tracking on the Order

Scan and Ship can mark the order as fulfilled in Shopify and update the order with the tracking number.

To do this you need Mark Fulfilled set on the Scan and Ship settings page :

Fulfillment Settings

You can set the Shipping Carrier , If this is left blank Shopify will attempt to determine the carrier based on the tracking number format . You can set Shipping Carrier to be "Prompt when fulfilling order if you use multiple shipping carriers" .

If you don't track your shipments you can tick fulfill without tracking .

Shipping Location is your current location .

When you have correctly scanned all the items Scan and Ship will prompt you to scan the tracking number :

The tracking number will be updated on the order and the email will be sent by Shopify to inform the user that the order has been fulfilled.
